A space startup named Digantra has developed India’s first in-orbit space debris monitoring and tracking system. The system works on LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology. This system developed by the start-up will provide global real-time earth monitoring. This task will be achieved by deploying a constellation of cost-efficient nanosatellites in Low-Earth Orbit. A Low Earth Orbit is located at an altitude of less than 1000 km. The system will help international space agencies track and map space debris. This will aid in mitigating the major hazards of future space exploration.
After the United Arab Emirates, China also successfully launched its Mars mission. The mission has been launched from Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Center in Henan Province, southern China. This orbit will enter the orbit of the red planet after completing about 500 million kilometers long journey in seven months. China has three goals to achieve with this one mission. That is to revolve around Mars, landing, and rover on the surface. In this sense, this is his first mission. Although China attempted in 2011 too, its mission then failed. The UAE last sent its spacecraft. He is the first in the Arab world to send a mission to Mars. According to the space agency China National Space Administration (CNSA) statement, The Chinese Mars Probe named Tianwen-1 was launched with a Long March-5 rocket. An orbiter and a rover have also been sent with this spacecraft. The US space agency NASA is also preparing to launch its Mars mission on the 30th of this month. The World Trade Organization General Council has announced the observer status to the Central Asian country Turkmenistan. After receiving Observer status from the World Trade Organization, Turkmenistan became the last former Soviet republic to have formal relations with this trade body. Turkmenistan has become the 25th Observer of this organization. Turkmenistan will now be able to reap the benefits of this status as it will help develop the country’s economy, promote multilateral cooperation, attract foreign investment, and develop international trade relations.

Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shri Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated through video conference of ‘World-class state-of-the-art honey testing laboratory of India’ set up in Anand (Gujarat) by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in collaboration with National Bee Board (NBB) did. The Central American country has become the 87th country to sign the Republic of Nicaragua International Solar Alliance Framework Agreement. The Punjab government has signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar to cooperate in the field of skill development. The Karnataka cabinet approved the formation of the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission. This mission is being launched under the provision of Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Nagpur-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has designed and developed a ‘smart wristband’ for effective tracking and monitoring of Covid-19 infected and suspected patients. This new wristband device is designed by IIT Jodhpur and IIT Nagpur to overcome the problems of existing online mobile apps used for tracking and monitoring of coronavirus patients. The “smart wristband” device will work on a technology that is more effective than the GPS. The data collected through the wrist band will be collected and stored on the cloud being monitored by health workers. The new format of digital KYC (know-your-customer) and Aadhaar-based OTP (one-time personal identification number) will be used for verification of the customer in the Insta Click Saving account, which can be accessed from the bank’s website using mobile phones, iPads, laptops. , And can be done online via PC. The Department of Science and Technology has launched the Indo-Russian Joint Technology Assessment and Accelerated Commercialization Program in partnership with the Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Foundation for Supporting Small New Industries of Russia (FASIE). The program will connect Indian and Russian SMEs and start-ups operated by Science and Technology (S&T) for technology development and joint R&D for the adoption of each other’s technologies. The program will run through two annual cycles with five projects funded under each cycle. It will carry out science and technology-focused projects which include IT and ICT (including AI, AR, VR), medicine and pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, aerospace, alternative technology, environment, innovative materials, biotechnology, robotics, and drones. But these are not limited to these. FICCI will implement this program in the country on behalf of the Department of Science and Technology. In two years, the Department of Science and Technology will fund up to Rs 15 crore to ten Indian SMEs / start-ups and the Foundation for Supporting Small New Industries of Russia (FASIE) will also provide the same amount of money to Russian projects. Under this program, with the participation of at least one start-up / SME from India and one SME from Russia, joint public funding will be provided for selected projects. The Ministry of Shipping has decided to waive waterway usage charges with immediate effect, considering the government’s vision to promote inland water transport as a complementary, environmentally friendly, and economical mode of transport. The charges are initially waived for three years. Shipping Minister Mansukh Lal Mandavia said that at present only two percent of the freight is being carried by waterways.
