  1. The NITI Aayog in association with the International Transport Forum (ITF) will launch a carbon-free transport service project in India on 24 June 2020 to pave the way for a low carbon emission transport system for India. India is a member of the ITF, an inter-governmental organization that decides transport policy since 2008. ITF Secretary-General Young Tai Kim and NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant will publicly launch the project online on 24 June. Through this program, transport and climate stakeholders in India will be informed about the planned project activities. The project “Decarbonising Transport in India” is part of the “Decarbonising Transport in Emerging Economies (DTEE)” project of the International Transport Forum.
  2. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Mr. Prakash Javadekar inaugurated “Virtual India Pavilion” at ‘Cannes Film Market 2020’. This pavilion offers an excellent and detailed glimpse of Indian cinema from all linguistic, cultural, and regional perspectives. The purpose of this pavilion is to have an even greater number of international partnerships in the areas of distribution, production, filming in India, script development and technology, and to promote film sales and syndication. Marathi film Mai Ghat and Gujarati film Helaro have been sent as official entries for Cannes Film Festival this year. Mr. Javadekar also released a poster and information booklet for the 51st Indian International Film Festival – EFI. The film will be held in Goa from November 20 this year.

The Line of Credit (LOC) worth the US $ 20.10 million has been extended to the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua by Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) on behalf of the Government of India. This LOC has been extended to the reconstruction of Aldo Chavarria Hospital in the Republic of Nicaragua.
