The administration of Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district has launched a vehicle called ‘Tiranga’ (Total India Remote Analysis Nirogya Abhiyan) to rapidly check for COVID-19 symptoms. The vehicle featured thermal scanning, an infrared thermometer on the bonnet, a two-way microphone system to interrogate the person inside or outside the vehicle, and a mobile camera for clicking identification cards or photographs.
