  1. November 16 is celebrated as National Press Day. The Press Council of India was established on this day.
  2. The United Nations celebrates “International Day for Tolerance” on 16 November every year worldwide.
  3. According to the recent report released by UNICEF on pneumonia, the number of children due to pneumonia in Nigeria country is high. According to the UNICEF report on pneumonia, Nigeria (162,000) has the highest number of child deaths in India (127,000) followed by Pakistan (58,000), Democratic Republic of Congo (40,000) and Ethiopia (32,000). The report states that: Every 39 seconds a child dies of pneumonia.
  4. Chief Justice “Ranjan Gogoi” will retire on November 17, 2019. He was sworn in as the 46th Chief Justice of India on October 3, 2018. He replaced Justice “Deepak Mishra”. The “gut” organ of the body is mainly affected by typhoid disease.

National Initiative on School Head’s and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement is the world’s largest teacher education training program.
