  1. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) said that Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra topped the Food Safety Index of 2019-20. The authority said that Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra topped the list of big states in the index. Goa ranked first among small states. It was followed by Manipur and Meghalaya. Chandigarh, Delhi and Andaman Islands topped the Union Territories. This is the second index on food security. FSSAI released it on the occasion of World Food Safety Day with the theme ‘Food Safety is everyone’s business’.
  2. The Ministry of AYUSH, in collaboration with Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, will organize a program on television as the Curtain Razor (preview) of International Yoga Day 2020.
