  1. United Nations body – UNESCO Director-General Audrey Ezole has issued a certificate of inclusion of the old city of Jaipur in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. He handed over its certificate to the state’s Urban Development Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal. UNESCO included the old city of Jaipur in the World Heritage List in July last year, which is famous for its grid plan, architecture and pink buildings. The city was inspected in 2018 by the International Council for Monuments and Sites before being included in the list. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – UNESCO Director-General Audrey Ejoule is on a 3-day visit to India.
  2. The fourth East Asia Summit on Maritime Cooperation will be organized by the Ministry of External Affairs during 6-7 February. This conference is being organized in India for the fifth time.   3. The government has issued a gazette notification about the constitution of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Trust will have its office in Greater Kailash in Delhi. About 67 acres of land will be transferred to Trust for this purpose. The Government of Uttar Pradesh has already issued an allotment letter for providing a plot of five acres to the Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of the mosque as per the Supreme Court directive.
